Securing Microsoft Access

Securing a Microsoft Access database isn't as easy as you might think. In fact its kind of the holy grail for MS Access Developers. The problem is that the securing features provided by the MS Access application only provides basic protection.

Microsoft have made recommendations in their SECFAQ which outlines the weaknesses and provides solutions to the problems. The solutions are basically tweaks and tasks which must be performed to make Microsoft Access databases more secure.

So why was this feature missed from Microsoft Access?

MDBSecure has been developed to take the pain out of the process of securing MS Access databases, saving you time and money. You don't have to spend hours reading SECFAQ and you don't have to follow the recommended tasks (which could take you around 30 minutes per database) everything you want to secure a database.

MDBSecure does all the securing for you and more, it provides a basic table import and creates JET connection strings.
