Ideaspad is extremely popular within the academic community across the world. Due to Ideaspads flexibility, it is ideal for structuring research data. Templates can be designed specifically for the project and the data available.

What's a template?

Basically a form in which to type your information.

It's made using HTML so you can write your own, with a little HTML knowledge.

If you would like us to create a template for you, provide us with the type of information that you want to record and an idea of how you would like to use it.

How you could use Ideaspad templates, you could create a form with the following elements, date, measurement / value, project, comments. This template could be used to gather a data about a great many tests. The data could then be exported into a statistical analysis program.

Then you could write notes using Ideaspads word processing features. All your information would be held in a hierarchical tree structure, with branches for different projects, theories, projections and scientific measurements.

Ideaspad allows you to find your information quickly / easily with several search features which can be used with templates or note topics. A sort of card file of your research and reference information.
